McCain leads Neocons Romney Conservatives

There is a bifurcated race in the Republican field. Two candidates vie for the neocon slot, John McCain and Rudi Giuliani. The other 3 vie for the conservative-traditional slot, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, and Fred Thompson.

In South Carolina, McCain won decisively over Rudi Giuliani, something like 33 percent to less than 4 percent. Huckabee won the conservative slot, 30 percent to Fred Thompson or Mitt Romney at about 15 percent. However, South Carolina voted conservative 2 to 1.

Romney won more delegates in Nevada, so he leads the delegate count overall. We are seeing McCain take the lead for the neocon side of the Republican party. His one real issue is the war on terrorism. But he has trouble identifying this as a war on Islam, just as the neocons do. Thus McCain would lose the war.

On the conservative side, we have a 3 way of Romney, Huckabee and Thompson. Romney leads this overall. Huckabee is second and Thompson third. Huckabee has a hard time going outside the evangelical base. He has tried to shore up his position on immigration with Roy Beck at NumbersUSA. This helps him within and without of the evangelicals.

Rudi’s only real chance is to try to move conservative. If he went to Roy Beck and took a real no legalization pledge, then he might appeal to conservatives. Without that, McCain is likely to eat him.

Romney so far has the best chance to win conservatives and thus be the true heir of Ronald Reagan in that sense. However, Fred Thompson is the truest of the conservatives in the trio vying for the conservative-traditional voters.

Waterboarding Musharraf Spoof

Musharraf is visiting Europe. How would a side trip to the washboard in Spain work out? Musharraf is brought to Spain and the old waterboarding apparatus taken out.

Musharraf: You aren’t going to actually go through with this are you?

Inquisitor: We will save your soul. Besides its John Yoo certified not to be torture.

Mush: Koreans have a violent streak in them.

Inquisitor: Don’t be racist. We want the truth.

Mush: I thought don’t be racist meant don’t tell the truth.

Inquisitor: This will be easier for you if you cooperate.

Mush: I’m a general in the Pakistani army.

Inquisitor: Then you should understand that without having to be told.

Mush: What did you want to know exactly? You want to ask me if I think blacks have lower IQ because of genes?

Inquisitor: We are not interested in that.

Mush: You want to know where the little girl Madeleine is?

Inquisitor: You know that?

Mush: No, but I’ve got a good guess.

Inquisitor: Where?

Mush: I hear there is someone in Dubai who was actually prosecuted for his attraction to little Western girls. Why don’t you look in his house?

Inquisitor: We are interested in your Dubai connection, but more in terms of funding 9-11 than in the girl. Of course, if you could bring us hard information it would go easier for you.

Mush: Sorry, what happens in Dubai stays in Dubai.

Inquisitor: The CIA told me that in their training program.

Mush: Take it from me, its true.

Inquisitor: What about Bhutto, did you order her death?

Mush: What if I say no?

Inquisitor: Water is in your future.

Mush: So you want a yes answer?

Inquisitor: We want details or you go under the water.

Mush: I ordered it. The ISI did it. They arranged some fool to be the suicide bomber and another guy to pull the trigger.

Inquisitor: What about 9-11?

Mush: Same deal. But bin Laden did think of it. We knew it was coming down.

Inquisitor: And you knew to have your man General Ahmad of the ISI in DC to get money on 9-11?

Mush: We had debt of 38 billion on 9-11 and our interest was greater than our gross exports. If we didn’t get aid we would have to give up our nuclear program to get aid.

Inquisitor: And you needed A. Q. Khan to sell nuclear know-how to pay for the program and give you all walking around money?

Mush: When its in the millions we call it flying around money.

Inquisitor: Excuse me.

Mush: No problem. You couldn’t be expected to know.

Inquistor: So you needed flying around money for yourself? That’s what 9-11 was for so you could have flying around money?

Mush: Its funny isn’t it? We crash two jets into buildings so we can have flying around money to go to Switzerland and other banking havens.

Inquisitor: People jumped off those buildings because it got so hot. You watched them jump on TV and then General Ahmad of the ISI in DC asked for money?

Mush: When you need money you do what you gotta do. We were under sanctions. It was get paid to fight terrorism or give up our nukes to get sanctions lifted. And that would have cut the money we were making by A. Q. Khan selling nuclear know-how. We needed that to trade with North Korea, Iran, Libya, and so on. We don’t have oil you know.

Inquisitor: I think I’ve heard that.

Mush: So what’s it going to be? I’ve played ball. How about a ticket out of here?

Inquisitor: So you can spend your flying around money?

Mush: I can’t take it with me.

Bernanke America Becoming 3rd world spoof

What Bernanke might have said to Congress.

Monetary policy can’t keep America a first world country while Congress turns it into a 3rd world country by immigration.  Put simply, money can’t buy you IQ.  3rd World Immigrants have 85 to 90 IQ.  They are lowering us to the level of the 3rd world.

The Fed can’t stop this.  What we can do is keep a stable currency as we become a 3rd world country.  But that means imposing strict discipline.

Banks that lend to 3rd worlders in the US and lose money here must go under.  People need to realize they can lose their good job and their home. That is the New America Order that Congress has created.

The America that we were born into has been and is being legislated out of existence.  Congress has to dismantle social services that 3rd world nations can’t afford.  This includes welfare of all forms.  We also can’t expect to have functioning schools.

The Fed can only manage a stable currency as we decline.  It can also keep banks from running phony balance sheets.  But the decline is programmed in.  Congress should stop immigration now.   We might still have a chance, but only if we act.

Congress should seek out testimony by Dr. James Watson, Jared Taylor, Lawrence Auster, Peter Brimelow, Steve Sailer, Steven Camarota, and others willing to say the truth about immigration.  You need to hear more Shockley and less of what you have been hearing.  You should also listen to Virgil Goode.

The Fed’s job today is to manage the money supply so that the dollar exchange rate is stable as America drops from what it was.  Part of our job is to be harsh on banks that lose money and don’t have the capital.  They have to close if necessary but also not pay dividends or huge compensation to their CEO.

The longer it is before reality is said to Congress, the worse the situation we will be in. We need more reality and less feel good sentimentality about race and 3rd worlders.  We need truth.

Teaching Asia’s Children not Americas

This year with recession looming, with bailouts of our banks by China and the Arabs, we are facing our collapse as a great power.

Men’s median wages are the same as in 1973, women’s the same as men’s in 1960. See p60-233.pdf at Census.gov. We have pretended that 85 to 90 IQ immigrants are the same as 100 to 115 IQ immigrants in the 19th century. We are now seeing our arrogance and folly exposed. We gave our know-how and training in Ph.D. programs to Asia. The result is nukes for Pakistan and the nuking of our industries.

If we have no industry, who goes to the MIT mechanical engineering program? If that program dries up, what is America? We can’t all be real estate sales people and lawyers. But that is the answer we get from politicians who say get retrained. Get retrained for what? Bill Gates says the computer jobs are for H-1B’s. Bill Gates says Irish Need not Apply. So do Stanford and Berkeley Ph.D. programs in engineering and science and math. Even Ph.D. programs in economics and business are Asian and foreign first.

When we teach our know-how to Asia’s children, then we lose it. We are becoming nothing from our arrogance. We don’t want to be bigots. When we are poor will Asia and the Arabs be king to us because we got poor by not being bigots? Will Latin America?

Our Freedom Comes from Evolution

Isn’t that nuts? If contracts come from game theory and the Golden Rule comes from the Prisoner’s Dilemma, then our freedom and our rights come from evolution. How?

Evolution is about search in high dimensions. To search in high dimensions you need random strategies. You have to pick random points and see how they work out. If one works, you use that point to search from.

In a human society, everyone copies what seems to work. Then some genius searches some place else, and finds something, and everyone flocks around him. This is random search. To make this work you need the right to search and the freedom to go in different directions. You also need property rights, like patent, trademark, and copyright to reward those who try a different direction.

In politics, you need freedom of speech so that different directions for society can be tried out in thought experiments before being tried in practice. This was also the idea of states before the Lincoln War. States were the laboratory of democracy.

Lincoln closed the lab part way and liberalism did the rest in the 1964 Civil Rights Act and other testaments against freedom of association, another part of optimal search. You need freedom to associate, and not associate, to search out optimal combinations.

Canada’s Stifle Steyn Commission is an example of why we need free speech. Canada has the idea: Brings lots of Muslims and accede to their ways. Steyn says that’s dumb or he says enough and Lawrence Auster says its stupid and don’t do it, i.e. stop Muslim immigration. We need that freedom to stop stupid ideas before they stop us. Muslim immigration: dumb idea. How do we stop it: free speech. We need to be able to say like Virgil Goode did, stop all Muslim immigration.

In prisoner’s dilemma, two prisoners can both do better by cooperating together.  But they can’t monitor performance or penalize cheating.  Each does best by choosing to cheat so they both end up losing out.

Evolution solves that by golden rule molecules.  We are coded to cooperate even when we can’t efficiently reward cooperation and punish cheating.  We have Golden Rule molecules in our brains.  (Those molecules must have been left out of Henry Kravis.)

However, over time, behavior does adjust.   We also have cheating molecules (Which did make it into Henry K.) and we have outrage at being cheated molecules.  These showed up at the Stop Senate Shamnesty call in.  But they seem to be in short supply.

Each of these behaviors plays a role and each has molecules or brain structure to implement them.  They have to balance each other and adapt partially to conditions.  They also are meant not to fully adapt to conditions.  So people cooperate even where they may cooperate to extinction, e.g. immigration.  But some recognize the injustice and want all legal immigration to stop.

If we have freedom of speech, we can debate this to stop the wrong choice, extinction by immigration.  If we have Tony Blair Commissions then we don’t have freedom of speech.  This gets worse as Muslims become greater in number.  Stopping the wrong choice gets harder as our speech is limited.  Immigration has pushed PC to new heights to stop the rational reaction to immigration which is speech to stop all of it.

Musharraf hires 9-11 Commission to Clear Him Spoof

Pervez Musharraf has hired the 9-11 Commission to clear his name in the shooting of Benazir Bhutto.  The press conference transcript follows.  Lee Hamilton and Thomas Kean were present, but Hamilton was spokesperson.

Lee Hamilton: We don’t want to blame anyone for shooting Bhutto.

Heckler:  You don’t want to assign blame?  Isn’t that the whole point?

Hamilton: We just want to recommend policy changes.

Heckler: How about don’t kill people?  Do we need a commission to tell us that?   Or do we need a commission to cover up the cover up?

Hamilton: Al Qaeda is responsible.

Heckler:  Musharraf faked the medical report.  The doctors say there were entrance and exit wounds.

Hamilton: Its just that sort of irresponsible Ron Paul white nationalist conspiracy theory we have to stamp out.

Heckler: Didn’t Musharraf do it?  Isn’t he the one paying you?

Hamilton: The commission will recommend changes.

Heckler: Like do an autopsy when someone is brought to the hospital with gunshot wounds?  Like the president of the country shouldn’t tell doctors to say she hit her head when she didn’t?  Are those the policy changes you will recommend?

Hamilton: We aren’t seeking to cast blame just make recommendations.

Heckler: How about no Jersey Girls, no truth?  How is that for a recommendation?  How about telling the truth about Sibel Edmonds?  Release the tapes.

Hamilton: We believe that Pakistan should reorganize the government.

Heckler: You mean like put the secret police and the army together in one agency?  Call it the Pak-ISI-army complex? Throw in A. Q. Khan sales as well?  Is that your idea?  Why not just put in bin Laden and the Taliban all together as one agency?

Hamilton: OK, I’ll ask, what would you call it?

Heckler: Islam Pakistan Style.

McCain Hillary v Romney in Michigan

The party of McCain and Hillary is taking on Mitt Romney in Michigan.  Without a meaningful contest in the Democratic primary, Democrats and Independents can vote for McCain in the Republican primary.  Lawrence Auster has been pointing out the downside of open primaries.  He has pointed this out in the Michigan context in particular.

We may see McCain win in Michigan based on Democrat and Independent votes. Zogby said that last night and Auster quotes him.

Auster has pointed out how National Review is edging towards endorsing McCain over its own endorsement of Romney.

For conservatives to be down to Romney as a hope is already a loss. Fred Thompson has to be considered the better choice. The NYT reported Thompson surging in South Carolina in terms of attendance at his events.  Its a strange year for conservatives.

But the Republican candidates have to watch it, too. If blanket amnesty is a losing issue, so also is mass deportation — the practicality and morality of which are rarely considered by those rightly calling for an end to illegal immigration. Busing every illegal alien back to Mexico right now might resemble the past messy partition of India and Pakistan, and reopen the issue in a way that Democrats can legitimately exploit.

 Actually, the Wright Island Model Theorem proves that immigration is causing our genetic extinction.  We have below replacement fertility.  Men’s median wages are the same as in 1973, women’s median wages are the same as men’s were in 1960.  See p60-233.pdf graph page 16.

But many millions of law-abiding, employed illegal aliens of long residence will wish to stay. We should allow these to remain in the United States while they apply for citizenship — if they are willing to learn promptly our language and customs.

None can stay as pointed out above.

Republican candidates must risk angering their base by ruling out mass deportation.

Republican candidates are extincting their base.

Democrats should support closing the border tightly and quickly — and not cave in to open-borders groups.

Democrats are extincting their base too.  Something that base may wake up to.  Black men’s labor force participation rate was 80 percent in 1965 the same as white men.  Now white men are at 74 and black men at 66.  Obama supports that.
