Dumb Republican poll to fire Pelosi instead of immigration

August 14, 2009

Congressional Republicans have another dumb poll.  This one is to fire Nancy Pelosi.  This is not what Republicans are in control of.

Republican poll call to me is below.  This is close to how it actually went.  They really repeat the same question over and over like this.

Q: I am doing a poll for Congressional Republicans.

Q Do you think Nancy Pelosi should be fired?

A: I think Republicans should stop immigration.  Unemployment is about 10 percent and over 1 million people come per year.  Republicans don’t concentrate on the issues that really effect us.

Q Do you think Nancy Pelosi should be fired?

A: Republicans tend to think top down.  They think they blow the whistle and we respond like dogs.  This is another meaningless Republican poll.

Q Do you think Nancy Pelosi should be fired?

A: I think Michael Steele should be fired.

Q: Reads some blurb of standard words and hangs up.

Pelosi unpopular? ‘I don’t care’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is one of the most despised political figures in the country.

And, frankly, she doesn’t give a damn.

“No, I don’t care,” Pelosi told POLITICO last Thursday, laughing heartily as she walked beneath the Capitol dome and plunged into a crowd of tourists.

Last week’s Public Strategies Inc./POLITICO poll brought grim news for Pelosi, revealing that only a quarter of Americans trust the San Francisco Democrat — putting her in the basement with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio).”

The reason Boehner isn’t trusted is that he is pushing these stupid polls.  Boehner reads that Pelosi and he are both unpopular.

Boehner thinks: I will do a push poll to the Republican faithful.  This will generate money from them.

Boehner thinks: I don’t have to stop immigration to help people and offend big donors on Wall Street, I can just push poll on Pelosi’s unpopularity.  So from July 27 to August 14 Boehner gets his big idea.

Town Hall meetings about taking away our health care, big deficits, no 1961 Kapiolani hospital issued birth certificate signed by a doctor for Obama and Boehner’s big idea is a push poll capitalizing on Nancy Pelosi being as unpopular or worse than Boehner.

Fire Boehner.  That’s the answer for Republicans.  Then say stop all immigration.  That includes family reunification, Somali and Hmong asylum, H-1b, Agjobs, Skil Bill, and all the rest.

Adds House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.): “She’s what I like to call ‘operational’ — she knows how to get things done.”

Boehner doesn’t.

Gallup now measures Pelosi’s unfavorability ratings at 48 percent — with her favorability index registering a paltry 32 percent.

Boehner only understands these two numbers.  Men’s median wages are the same as in 1973 because of immigration.  Boehner doesn’t care.  He wants more.  Boehner thinks loyalty to whites is racism.  Boehner isn’t racist like his Republican constituents.  No, Boehner is well liked on Wall Street.  He isn’t racist.  He is for H-1b, Agjobs, and replacement immigration.  Boehner is for California bankruptcy and Texas being part of Mexico.  Boehner isn’t racist.  Not at all.

Voted YES on more immigrant visas for skilled workers.

Vote to pass a bill to increase the number of temporary visas granted to highly skilled workers from 65,000 to 115,000 by the year 2000. Reference: Bill introduced by Smith, R-TX.; Bill HR 3736 ; vote number 1998-460 on Sep 24, 1998

Boehner only opposes illegal immigration.  As long as its legal, they can take your job.

Men’s median wages are the same as in 1973.

She should be fired and even fried for that matter. Besides meaningless, annoying telephone polls the sadist thing is a person like her could even be elected to any political office or post to be fired from.
