Texas state budget crisis

January 7, 2012

Texas does now have a bad budget crisis.

Texas has a 25 billion shortfall in a 2 year budget of 95 billion. Most of their budget is health, education and welfare.

Governor Perry and Texas are using accounting gimmicks and raiding their rainy day fund to deal with their shortfalls.

Perry is trying to get out of Texas before his state government collapses. This is one reason he decided to unsuspend his campaign after suspending it after losing in Iowa. He went back to Texas and was reminded he had no money and that was why he wanted out.

Texas has been bankrupted by immigration. Just like California.
