Brenda Walker at Vdare on Bush victim Tina Davila

November 17, 2008

Tina Davila is a victim of George W. Bush as much as anyone else who might be called that and more so than many. Do you think Americans who died in Iraq are Bush victims? Tina Davila was a Bush victim because one of Bush’s illegals killed her, after being caught before.

“Why’d They Let Him Go?” Previously Arrested Illegal Alien Kills Woman In Carjacking Attempt.

Bush keeps killing. All the illegals here, especially ones caught and released are Bush’s killers. Timoteo Rios was the instrument of Bush’s vendetta against Buchanan Perot voters who humiliated his father in 1992 by defeating him. Bush wants revenge. Bush will keep on killing long after he is gone and long after our soldiers are out of Iraq.

Bush Speaks of Perot and Buchanan Acting in ‘Vendetta’

Gov. George W. Bush sternly denounced Ross Perot and Patrick J. Buchanan today, suggesting that ”personal vendettas” may be driving their apparent alliance to have Mr. Buchanan seek the Reform Party nomination. Mr. Bush asserted that both men helped undermine his father’s unsuccessful campaign for re-election to the White House in 1992.

I’ve always thought the 1992 campaign was hard for my dad to get traction in the race because of, first, Patrick J. Buchanan, and then Ross Perot inflicted a series of cuts,” Mr. Bush said in a response to questions at a news conference in a two-day campaign swing in this state. ”If the adage is true — you die a death of a thousand cuts in politics — Ross Perot was a part of the thousand cuts.

Mr. Bush’s display of a festering resentment toward Mr. Perot and Mr. Buchanan was unusual in a campaign in which Mr. Bush has tried to strike an accommodating tone to win over a broad spectrum of voters.

==

“Inflicted a series of cuts,” Bush speaks of.  Almost a literal description of the killings by Bush’s illegals on Americans.

Witnesses told police Davila refused to hand over her car keys and screamed as she was stabbed in the chest: “My baby! My baby!”

[“Why’d they let him go?” | In killing blamed on immigrant, woman’s kin want answers, By Susan Carroll,Houston Chronicle, November 16, 2008]

“Inflicted a series of cuts.”  Those are the cuts he keeps inflicting on Buchanan Perot voters, white women like Tina Davila, whether she ever voted for them or not.  In Bush’s mind they share the mark of the Devil, whites from founding stock or long in the country. These are the whites who didn’t give Bush respect as a boy in Midlands Texas like his Mexican maid did.  They didn’t know how important Bushes were and now they pay the price. And will keep on paying the price.

“Inflicted a series of cuts.” Like with box cutters?  They inflicted a series of cuts to take the planes.  “We have some planes”. Those were Bush’s killers too.  And he used that incident to kill Saddam who had plotted to kill Bush Jr’s father.  Bush Jr had two vendettas when he became president, get Saddam and get Buchanan Perot voters. The latter by immigration.

US population shot up under Bush Sr and Bush Jr to its over 300 million today from the immigration increases started by Bush Sr. in 1990.  US census numbers up to 1990 at 10 year intervals:

Men’s median wages are the same as in 1973 even though productivity doubled.  Women’s median wages are 77 percent of men’s which puts them at 1960.  The health care of Americans doesn’t start in the hospital but at home.  But because they don’t make as much as they should, they don’t have as good health as they deserve from their productivity having doubled.

Kennedy said his grandfather or some similar relative taught him to hate Protestants and that is why he pushes immigration.  He didn’t say it in those words but that is the meaning.  But Kennedy causes the ethnic cleansing of all in America, not just white Protestants that he hates.  Causing the extinction of your own group to cause that of another is one definition of hate, or one form of it.  The math shows this is the type of hate Kennedy has.

August 2007 by Carmen DeNavas-Walt

Jessica Smith.

Women’s median wages are stuck at 77 percent of men because employers can hire legal and illegal immigrants. Women’s wages slowed converging to men’s in 1990 from the Bush Sr. 1990 Immigration Act and the Kennedy Reagan 1986 Amnesty.

The LA Times cost 50 cents in 2006. Its circulation is declining. People don’t make enough to afford it. The Times advocates for immigration which keeps wages down. People can’t afford the Times and gas. So they drop the paper. Hispanics don’t read in general and not the Times. The Times is advocating for its own destruction.

The Times had to sell itself to Sam Zell because of its own advocacy of lower circulation. Can Zell figure out that his newspapers advocate for his newspaper business to go out of business? Its not super managers that are needed. People make the same wages as in 1973 so they don’t buy newspapers. Its that simple. That is caused by immigration.

This liver transplant money for immigrants, legal or not, is why people don’t have money to spend on the LA Times. Sam Zell is losing his newspaper circulation because wages are the same as in 1973. That is from immigration.

Money has to be spent on medical care and schools for immigrants, legal or not, and their children. They don’t carry their own weight, they are permanent moochers. This ultimately means that people who pay for this have less to spend on newspapers. So newspapers lose circulation. How long will it take Sam Zell to figure this out?

Brenda Walker Vdare: Immigration Anti-feminist Anti Woman

February 15, 2008

Brenda Walker at Vdare has a great column today pointing out that immigration is in fact anti-feminist and anti-woman. Third world immigration is from cultures that are anti-woman. This is part of the whole culture. That is applied to women here.

http://www.vdare.com/walker/080214_anthony.htm

Women in these cultures are subjected to physical assault and mental harassment and degradation. Just to make it clear, the culture doesn’t do it on its own, the people do it. The third world people do this. They do it there and they do it here.

In addition to, and linked to this, are the lower wages and benefits women get there and here. Women made progress towards men in wages and benefit. But that progress stopped.

See graph p60-233.pdf page 16 to see the graph of men’s median wages and women’s median wages since 1960.

Notice that the authors are women.

Also see Figure 3 page 19, the number in poverty. There are approximately 36 million in poverty in 2006 compared to about 40 million in 1960. But the number fell and then went back up. This is from third world immigration. Women in poverty are the most vulnerable and the most harmed by the attitudes and actions of third world immigrants against women.

Men’s median wage is the same since 1973. Women’s median wage has stopped increasing relative to men, stopping at around 80 percent. This is partly driven by discrimination against women by 3rd world immigrants in the US. It is also driven by the downward force of immigration on negotiating leverage of women.

The peg, men’s median wages has stopped, while productivity doubled. Thus women’s median wages is held down by holding down men’s median wages and by holding down negotiating power for women to gain equality with men. Immigration, especially from the third world is profoundly anti-woman.

Third world degradation of women by immigration is supported by Barack Hussein Obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, John McCain and Teddy Kennedy. Let’s review their record.

  1. Obama’s father from Kenya divorced Obama’s white mother and dropped her and forget about his son. Although Obama personally doesn’t do this himself, he knows that immigration does this and he supports that immigration. It was that immigration that led to his own mother being taken advantage of by his father. See Steve Sailer on Obama. Obama pushing this immigration on us while he personally is a good family man is not pro family or pro-woman for us. He knows what he is doing to us.
  2. Bill Clinton used his government position to prey upon women and raped Juanita Broderick while Clinton was Attorney General of the state of Arkansas. Clinton had her and Paula Jones and other of his women audited by the IRS in 1997, the year prior to his impeachment while he was engaged in conspiracy to obstruct justice and perjury about his women. Clinton was trying to intimidate them into silence from coming forward to the investigations of him and to get away with lying about his record with women.
  3. After 9-11, Bill Clinton went to Saudi Arabia to get speaking fees. He let them get away with funding al Qaeda while he was president, as well as funding anti-woman Islam world wide.
  4. John McCain dropped his first wife who had been disfigured in an auto accident. He was also part of the Keating 5.
  5. Teddy Kennedy left Mary Jo Kopechne to die in an air bubble at Chappaquiddick. Kennedy stopped others from calling the police. The police diver the next day said she had been alive in an air bubble and he could have saved her as had happened to another person recently.

The candidates are serial abusers and enablers of abuse. They have misused the power of government to intimidate women. They have taken money, speaking fees etc., from foreign governments that intimidate and subjugate women. This is who these “leaders” are. They aren’t of superior morality, they are immoral.

Not only are they immoral in the abstract, but they are hostile against us. They demean and degrade us, whether as women or men as their way of life and of government. They do it over and over again.

They feel entitled to do it to us, just as the Saudis feel entitled to. They both think God gave them the right and authority to dominate and degrade us. The Saudis funded al Qaeda before and after the attacks on our embassies in 1998, the USS Cole in 2000 and the Pentagon and WTC in 2001. Bill Clinton is taking speaking fees from the Saudis.

Nothing harms women more than immigration and Islam.  The promoters of immigration and Islam are Obama, Clinton, and McCain here and the Saudis, Mexico, India, Pakistan, and China there.  Europe is turning Muslim under Blair, Cameron, Brown, Sarkozy in the EUSSR.  Now is the time to stand up and be counted.

Call Senator John Warner, Jim Webb: Allison Kunhardt, Tessa Tranchant

May 24, 2007

I made more calls to my senators and other to stop amnesty and guestworker. I called again to Senator Jim Webb and thanked him for opposing guest worker and to vote against the final bill because it still has guest worker, and thus honor his campaign pledge to vote against guest worker.

I also did a couple other suggested calls. I’ve called my state Republican office and they told me to call the Republican National Committee, RNC, which I did. But I’m going to call them again too. They said they didn’t deal with that, but they have to deal with it if they lose people from the Republican party. That impacts them too.

Keep calling even if you’ve called. Find out the amendments each day at Numbers USA and Fairus. Call on the amendments and call to them thank when they vote our way on amendments. Keep this up. Get family and friends to call. Also fax and do personal faxes and emails in addition to faxing services.

Bush may be taking his revenge on Buchanan Perot voters for voting against his father in 1992. This is discussed at the link below.

The labor force participation rates of black, Hispanic, Asian and white men are all projected by the government to fall from 2004 to 2014 even without this bill.

That means an increase in every type of crime and family breakup. This means your kids won’t have job security, so they can’t get married, have kids, stay married and have more kids. That’s the revenge Bush wants on Buchanan Perot voters for not supporting his dad in 1992. He got Saddam Hussein, now he wants us.

“Parents of crash victims attend event targeting illegal immigration
The Virginian-Pilot ^ | May 19, 2007 | GILLIAN GAYNAIR”

“Call Webb, Warner and Drake, and tell them in a nice way that their jobs depend on their vote on immigration,” said Bill Buchanan of the American Council for Immigration Reform in Arlington. “Do nothing, and things will get worse. You must direct your efforts to make this state less attractive to immigrants.”

About 50 people attended the event – all of whom had to show identification to enter – which was designed to encourage people to join Help Save Virginia. The group grew from Help Save Herndon, a group that came together over concerns about day laborers in their town.

The meeting was sponsored by the Virginia chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps.

“The event was scheduled before the March 30 car crash that killed Virginia Beach teenagers Allison Kunhardt (also spelled Alison Kunhardt in some webpages) and Tessa Tranchant. Alfredo Ramos, an illegal immigrant, has been charged with aggravated involuntary manslaughter.

Alison’s father, David Kunhardt, and Tessa’s mother, Colette Tranchant, attended Friday’s gathering.”

Look at the photo of the two teens killed by the illegal drunk driver who had a prior record and wasn’t deported. This case is getting to Senator Warner. If you live in Virginia call Webb and Warner about it. This is working. Find out about
cases like this at other sites like Vdare. When you look at the photo of these two teens you will get the energy to call again. This is a fight and these two are martyrs.

Senator Warner traded their lives and our having lower wages so he could have higher stock prices. He takes ownership of their deaths by his stock profits. Senator Warner profited from their deaths by keeping our wages down while productivity went up, so all the productivity gains were channeled away from us to his stock portfolio.

SPLC Center is also making hay of the group sponsoring the event for the parents of Allison Kunhardt and Tessa Tranchant. Do they take ownership of the two teens deaths by their constant support of illegal immigration? By their attacks on Lou Dobbs and the Minutemen? When “public interest” law firms target teens by taking ownership in what kills them, what should we do? Call our senators. Call Jim Webb and John Warner.

(Final Note for SPLC: Cite your sources. If you use Colorado Media Matters work then cite them. CMM is also on the left, but doesn’t have a huge fancy HQ like SPLC does. Maybe people on the left would rather give their money to CMM which did the hard work on the Leprosy sources. CMM also cited and linked the US government graph that said Indochina refugees, legal immigration, were responsible for the Leprosy bulge in the 1970’s. CMM had the integrity to link to a graph that went against their main claim, by showing that legal immigration does cause Leprosy. SPLC as a public interest law firm has at least a double obligation to list references that teach away from its positions. Also SPLC owed equity to CMM and to tell the whole story when it set out to correct Lou Dobbs. They didn’t do that by not linking to the CMM page or the graph from the US government that said Indochina refugees, legal immigration, caused the 1970’s Big Bulge in Leprosy.)

Pew Research Poll Flaws: Muslim Americans: Middle Class

May 23, 2007

The Pew Research Center and other Pew units and others conducted a survey of Muslims. However, they interpret their results incorrectly. A careful analysis of their appendix like material in their pdf shows that the opposite conclusion should be drawn to their conclusion.

The correct conclusion is that Muslims in the US would stop answering survey questions in the middle when the survey switched from complaining about discrimination against Muslims to whether Muslims, and the survey respondent in particular support al Qaeda or terrorism. Pew reports that response rate was so low they had to up the fee from 25 dollars to 50 dollars to get people to go beyond the middle of the survey.

The survey questions start out slow and then ask about discrimination against Muslims. Then in the middle they start to switch to terrorism by Muslims. At that point, they encountered resistance to answering. They had so many Muslims drop the survey, it was done by phone, they had to change their design to offer 50 dollars. Then Muslims would answer and give the “correct” answer of not supporting terrorism, in large numbers, or al Qaeda.

However, what Pew did was unintentionally create an experiment in experimental economics. For 25 dollars US Muslims won’t criticize al Qaeda or terrorism. For 50 dollars, a few, but still not many, will. Thus the real conclusion is that Muslims do support al Qaeda and terrorism, including against Americans. For 25 dollars, they won’t pretend they oppose them, but for 50 dollars they will. In addition, they had to give their name and address to get the 50 dollars, so they couldn’t get the money without being identified.

Starting from 60,000 or 55,000 (they use both numbers) of contacts, Pew eventually got over half of its 1,000 final survey respondents to say that they didn’t support terrorism or al Qaeda. However, to do this they had to do the following:

  1. They had to increase the payment for the survey from 25 dollars to 50 dollars after people balked in finishing the survey when asked to answer questions on these issues.
  2. They had to go back to old survey respondents who were English or Spanish speaking, tended to own a house and be in one place, and tended to go to mosque less.

Thus the Pew survey was really experimental economics. It switched from being a survey to an experiment in economics when they had to increase the payment from 25 dollars to 50 dollars to get people to not just complain about discrimination but to say that they opposed al Qaeda and terrorism. For 25 dollars, they wouldn’t do that.

To get the money, they have to give their true name and true address, to get delivery. They are thus at risk if they say they support al Qaeda and terrorism. So they have to say they don’t support them, in effect. Despite this, some did anyhow. So the experiment was narrowed to a specific issue, how much money do you have to be paid to say you oppose al Qaeda and terrorism. For those responding it was between 25 and 50 dollars.

However, the actual conclusion is slightly more subtle. They started with 55,000 or 60,000 contacts and ended up with 1,000 usable ones. By design, they were only going to get no answers to support al Qaeda and terrorism, since they had to give their name and address to get the money. So the real survey issue was how much do you have to pay to get 1,000 useable responses if you start with 60,000 contacts?

This experiment resulted in the answer that its 50 dollars.
Phrased differently, to find 1,000 Muslims desperate enough
to say they oppose al Qaeda and terrorism against Americans, how much do you have to pay if you start with 60,000 calls. The answer is 50 dollars is enough but 25 is not. So its really helping designers of flawed surveys plan their budget.

From the start of 60,000 calls to 1,000 usable results, and a payment of 50 not 25 to get them, plus an additional recontact of another subgroup they could rely on more, and they admit that, in effect, they allow us to infer that:

Muslims in the US support al Qaeda

Muslims in the US support killing Americans in the US.

These conclusions are strengthened by analysis of some of the other survey questions. Some of this analysis is below, and some at the threads at Jihad Watch and the commentary by Robert Spencer, Hugh Fitzgerald, and posters there.

In particular, 55 percent said they didn’t think the US was sincere in the war on terror (see Question Q.H4), and only 40 percent said that Arabs did 9-11 (Question Q.H3). These were questions they felt safe to answer as they really felt to get the 50 dollars. The answer is not what they believe, its a way to express their animosity against Americans.

But to answer those “safe questions” they had to answer if they supported al Qaeda or supported terrorism. To induce them to say no to those two, which they had to do because the survey took their name and address to pay them, they had to be paid 50 dollars, when paid 25 dollars they would stop the survey and give up the 25 dollars despite having given enough of their time to get half way.

“To compensate respondents for their time and to make participation in the survey more attractive, an incentive of $50 was offered for completing the interview. The study began with $25 incentive, but this was subsequently increased to $50 to further minimize mid-interview termination. Three-quarters of the respondents provided name and address information for receiving the incentive payment.”

Page 72 of pdf.

The poll questions are in categories, Q.A, Q.B, etc. Q.D. (page 95 of pdf) is about discrimination against Muslims. Q.F is where they start to ask about extremism by Muslims . Q.F. is page 95 of the pdf. So when the poll switched from Muslims being discriminated against to Muslims engaged in terrorism, people stopped answering questions when they were paid 25 dollars.

So they had to increase the payment from 25 dollars to 50 dollars so that people would continue to answer questions after Muslims being discriminated against in Q.D. to Muslim terrorism in Q.F and afterwards. Q.H is when they ask the heavy questions on Muslim terrorism, almost the end of the poll.

So at 25 dollars, the RDD survey respondents would all stop answering as soon as the questions stopped being discrimination against Muslims to Muslim terrorism and extremism.

Translation of above. For 25 dollars, people will talk about discrimination after 9-11. But to say that terrorism is bad, i.e. to say other than what they believe, they require 50 dollars. They won’t say al Qaeda is bad for 25 dollars but will for 50 dollars.

Posted by: Old Atlantic [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 23, 2007 10:03 AM

This ended up being experimental economics. As experimental economics we discover that to get Muslims to say al Qaeda is bad, we have to pay them 50 dollars, 25 is not enough. This is a different part of economics than survey research, but a valuable contribution nonetheless. Hats off to Pew, they proved that Muslims do support al Qaeda and that it takes 50 dollars to get them to say they don’t.

Posted by: Old Atlantic [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 23, 2007 10:09 AM

To summarize, the Pew Study was experimental economics. Their experimental design, by accident, was to determine by experiment how much money it takes to get Muslims to say they are against terrorism or al Qaeda.

Pew discovered by varying the amount of money offered that Muslims in the U.S. would not say terrorism is bad or denounce al Qaeda for 25 dollars but would for 50 dollars.

For 25 dollars, Muslims in the U.S. would complain about discrimination after 9-11, but would not answer questions about whether they supported al Qaeda or terrorism.

The conclusion of the Pew Experimental Design was that it takes 50 dollars to get a Muslim in the U.S. to say they are against terrorism or al Qaeda and 25 dollars is not enough. This is the proper statement of the conclusion of the Pew exercise.

Its reasonable to infer from this that Muslims in the U.S. support al Qaeda and terrorism and killing Americans.

It is reasonable to infer from this that Virgil Goode was right, stop Muslim immigration.

“Nearly 60,000 respondents were interviewed to find a representative sample
of Muslims.”

We might restate the conclusion a little. It takes 50 dollars a person to troll through 60,000 Muslims
to find over 500 out of a 1000 willing to say that they are against al Qaeda and terrorism. Paying 25 dollars isn’t enough to get them to answer questions on terrorism, that will only get them to complain about discrimination after 9-11.

In the end, paying them 50 dollars, they still came up with fewer than 1000 Muslims willing to say they were against al Qaeda and killing Americans.

Posted by: Old Atlantic [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 23, 2007 11:40 AM

If we take the under 1000 willing to say they were against terrorism and al Qaeda out of the 60,000, we have less than 2 percent of Muslims in the US out of the sample they started with were willing to denounce al Qaeda and killing Americans.

To get even that many they had to increase the payment for answering questions about terrorism to 50 dollars, because at 25 dollars they stopped answering questions after the discrimination questions.

They also had to recontact an old survey group whose characteristics they knew were much more friendly.

We can look at this as a search for at least 500 US Muslims willing to denounce al Qaeda and terrorism. To get that many they had to up the money for saying specifically that from answering questions on discrimination and reuse an old sample that they knew was more friendly.

Younger Muslims support suicide bombing in greater numbers

http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/016577.php

Survey Finds US Muslims Mostly Mainstream by Jim Lobe

“Similarly, a plurality (48 percent) of Muslim Americans also said they believed the war in Afghanistan was a mistake, compared to less than 30 percent of the general public.”

“Only 22 percent (of Arab born Muslims) said they believed that Arabs carried out the 9/11 attacks, compared to 40 percent of all Muslim Americans.”

The response on this question is like the leading indicator in business cycle prediction. The response on “Is suicide bombing ever justified” is a lagging indicator. Also, some Muslims may not accept the term suicide bombing to describe 9-11, 7-7, etc. The Pew survey may not be a culturally valid survey for Muslims, especially non-convert Muslims.

A better question might have been: Is it ever justified to kill non-Muslims? Is it ever justified to kill non-Muslims in the United States?

The following argues that the Left is attracted to Islam precisely because it is a non-Western religion. Leftist awakenings have a track record of wanting to get rid of the people who embody the old culture. The above survey, to the true leftist, may be good news. It shows that Muslim immigration is working, it is creating irreversible change in culture by changing the people.

Are Muslim Americans mostly middle class and mostly mainstream, as headlined by the Pew Research Center? Is there any other group which would be surveyed for which the labels “moderate” and “assimilated” would be used when more than one quarter of those under age 30 support suicide bombing attacks, and only 40% believe that the 9/11 attacks were carried out by Muslim terrorists?

==Pew Puzzles

Pew polls tend to be puzzles.   Their study on immigration and wages in 2006 was a similar puzzle set to the public.  They explicitly said they were not determining if immigration lowered wages overall in the US, just that where immigration was high didn’t result in lower wages there, according to their study.  Even if we accepted that result, we would still have the issue that the impact on wages was felt everywhere, which would explain why there is opposition to immigration everywhere.   Even if immigration impacted the place of immigration first, immigration started in 1965 so there has been plenty of time for the effects to spread out evenly over the whole country.

Call Your Senator No Amnesty: Talking Points HUTCHISON-PENCE PLAN

May 12, 2007

Call your senator Monday May 14, 2007 to say no amnesty. This article discusses what to say if they bring up the HUTCHISON-PENCE PLAN from 2006. The Senate is negotiating an amnesty legalization guest worker expanded legal immigration plan behind closed doors. To throw you off, they have had staffers talk up the Hutchinson Pence plan from last year.

(A very good analysis of Flake-Gutierrez is here)

From View From the Right, Lawrence Auster:

“Time to start calling our senators Paul Nachman”

Charles T. writes:

The Senate staffer I talked with was pleasant, informed, and actually discussed the issue with me–unlike so many other staffers who are not in the know.

He pointed to the Hutchison-Pence immigration bill being touted as bridging the divide in the Republican party on this issue. Summarizing, the bill allows for 1) security measures at the border , 2) SELF–DEPORTATION of illegal immigrants to their home countries over a two year period, 3) then the process of applying to work in the US for a specified amount of time, complete with tamper proof ID cards, and a long 17 year path to citizenship.

The tone changed slightly when the staffer said emphatically that agricultural and construction concerns were telling the senator they could not fill the jobs in their respective industries. I pointed out that the jobs would be filled if the various industries would pay their American workers a fair wage and that these industries wanted and hired low priced alien labor.

Summary of HP here: http://immigration.about.com/b/a/256072.htm

After border-security strategies are fully in effect and functional, the bill would allow for the Bush-backed guest-worker and employment-verification programs to be implemented.

The government would authorize designated employment services to fill specific job openings with foreign workers from Canada, Mexico and Central American countries that participate in U.S. trade pacts.

Hutchison Pence thus contains a guest worker program. Some Senators such as Jim Webb promised they would vote against any guest worker program. If you live in Virginia, call Jim Webb’s office and tell them you want to hold him to his promise to vote against any bill with guest worker provisions.

allow most of the 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States a chance to work here legally, but only after the government certifies that U.S. borders have been sufficiently secured.

Objection to this:

  1. Illegal and legal Mexican drunk drivers have very high blood alcohol levels and kill Americans. See photo: Tessa Tranchant, 16, left, and Allison Kunhardt, 17, Virginia Beach Teens Killed at Intersection
    [Brenda Walker] Vdare
  2. If its really 11 million, why don’t they put a cap at 11 million, first come, first served?
  3. the 1986 Amnesty resulted in more people getting amnesty than predicted. If they had capped it numerically, that would not have happened.
  4. More people came after the amnesty as illegals because of this amnesty, in fact all the ones now to be amnestied.
  5. How do they have the manpower to check who these people are?
  6. How do they screen out criminals?
  7. What about terrorists?
  8. The Fort Dix Six included illegals. Wouldn’t the Pence Hutchison plan have legalized them?
  9. If they go back to Pakistan, as part of the Pence plan, and then come back here, doesn’t that give them a chance to attend a terrorist training camp? If we do nothing, they can’t leave the country and get terrorist training and come back without having to sneak back in. Aren’t we better off making them stay here illegally then forcing them to go back to Pakistan where they get terrorist training and meet with al Qaeda, the Taliban and even elements of Pakistan’s ISI?
  10. How do they go onto Islamberg to check it out?
  11. Male migrant workers brought their wives and/or children and had kids here and flooded the LA school system, shutting down its ability to provide a good education and causing extreme gang warfare.
  12. Mexican gangs have put out a green light for gang members to shoot any black in LA county on sight, man, woman or child, they don’t have to be a black gang member. This is from Southern Poverty Law Center, an otherwise left wing group that labels those for immigration restriction as bigots, racists, or hate groups.

Islamberg, New York: “You can hear gunfire up there. I can’t understand why the FBI won’t shut it down” from Jihad Watch

Paul Williams report in Canada Free Press: Islamberg is a branch of Muslims of the Americas Inc., a tax-exempt organization formed in 1980 by Pakistani cleric Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, who refers to himself as “the sixth Sultan Ul Faqr,” Gilani, has been directly linked by court documents to Jamaat ul-Fuqra or “community of the impoverished,” an organization that seeks to “purify” Islam through violence.

Though primarily based in Lahore, Pakistan, Jamaat ul-Fuqra has operational headquarters in New York and openly recruits through various social service organizations in the U.S., including the prison system. Members live in hamaats or compounds, such as Islamberg, where they agree to abide by the laws of Jamaat ul-Fuqra, which are considered to be above local, state and federal authority. Additional hamaats have been established in Hyattsville, Maryland; Red House, Virginia; Falls Church, Virginia; Macon, Georgia; York, South Carolina; Dover, Tennessee; Buena Vista, Colorado; Talihina, Oklahoma; Tulane Country, California; Commerce, California; and Onalaska, Washington. Others are being built, including an expansive facility in Sherman, Pennsylvania.

On May 14 Call Senator John Warner VA to vote against Amnesty

May 11, 2007

It is urgent to get Senator John Warner of Virginia to vote against amnesty. The Senate may reach a compromise early the week of May 14, 2007. You need to call Monday May 14, 2007. If you live in Virginia call Senator Warner to vote against amnesty. Senator Warner is a fence sitter who voted for S. 2611 last year, for amnesty.

Advice from NumbersUSA:

“Always be polite but firm. You can make a very successful call by simply stating your name, where you are calling from, and a couple of brief talking points. Then, free up the line so the next caller can get through.”

We want Warner to vote against whatever bill comes up and to vote against cloture, i.e. vote against cutting off debate. Mention Lou Dobbs and that Lou Dobbs is against the bill. Say you trust and have faith in Lou Dobbs.

Warner has a D from Americans for Better Immigration.

Immigration doesn’t help the middle class. Men’s median wages are lower than in 1973.

US Census Report on wages By
Carmen DeNavas-Walt

Graph page 18 shows men’s median wages peaked in 1973, they are lower now. Women’s median wages are lower than men’s, which means they are lower than men earned in 1973. Black median wages are lower than all men, which means black wages are lower than what all men made in 1973.

1973 is 35 years ago. When they push immigration after the US government reports wages are stagnant for 35 years it shows they are voting their stock portfolio.

Immigration keeps wages to the 1973 level. That boosts up stock prices, because productivity has gone up since 1973. So the money is going to profits which pushes up stock prices. The leading Senators pushing immigration, McCain and Kennedy are worth 10’s of millions of dollars. They are i the top 1 percent that get 20 percent of the income.

The top 1 percent got 20 percent of income before the 1920’s restriction, 10 percent after, and now get 20 percent with 1965 legal immigration. Kennedy pushed that act and he is now wealthier because his stocks went up.

Senate trades our lives and security so that they get 20 dollars of every 100 dollars we create at work instead of the 10 dollars they got before the 1965 Immigration Act.

Worker Productivity Graph and info

Productivity never stopped growing, except possibly during some recessions or odd years from 1947 to present.

1947 to 1973 worker productivity up 2.7 percent per year.

1973 to early 1990’s 1.4 percent per year

1995 to 2004 2.9 percent per year increase in worker productivity.

Yet men’s median wages are lower than in 1973, and the other groups, women, blacks, etc. are lower than all men in 1973.

The workers became more productive, but wages stayed at or below the level of men in 1973.

What changed is that the top 1 percent get 20 percent of every 100 dollars we make now but only got 10 dollars per every 100 before the 1965 Immigration Act.

“People whose family income was less than $5,000 in 1980 could expect to live about 25 percent fewer years than people whose family income was greater than $50,000.”

The Senate is in jihad against middle class wages. The Senate jihad against wages by immigration has also lowered our lifespan. The Senate jihad on wages by immigration kills more Americans than the Senate’s jihad against Americans by importing Muslim jihadis to kill us directly. The indirect killing by lower lifespans kills far more than the Fort Dix type, at least for now.

===

Did immigration cause productivity to go up? No. Productivity was going up from 1947 onwards. If you draw a straight line from 1947 to 2004 its close to the graph anyhow.

The slowdown in productivity growth started in 1973, 8 years after the 1965 Immigration Act.

“The consensus among most economists is that there is no one factor that accounts for that productivity slowdown, but rather that it was the result of a series of different influences that each made a modest contribution and happened to occur at about the same time.”

“Among the factors that are likely to have played some role are increased safety and environmental regulation, reduced investment in productive equipment, and demographic changes , along with a number of other developments.”

Demographic changes is code words for immigration. They are not even allowed to say it.

From:

Productivity Graph and analysis

So we had 2.7 percent productivity growth before immigration. Immigration brought down productivity growth, it didn’t increase it. Moreover, before the 1965 Immigration Act, wages went up with productivity. We got all our increased productivity. That’s our work. After the 1965 Immigration Act, the rich Senator’s got our productivity increases in their stock portfolio.

Men’s median wages stopped growing completely in 1973. Zero growth in wages while productivity goes up substantially shows that markets are undercutting workers.

The income inequality graph proves this as well. The top 1 percent got 20 percent before immigration restriction in the 1920’s, they got 10 percent during restriction up to the 1965 Immigration Act, and now they are back to 20 percent. This shows its immigration that is driving this redistribution from those who create income to those who control income distribution by controlling immigration. Wealth inequality has become even worse than income inequality.

Another bright young person has had his life snuffed out by a drunk-driving illegal alien. Matthew Watson, 20, a sophomore economics major at the University of Maryland, was killed May 5 at 3 am when the Jeep Cherokee in which he was a passenger was struck by a truck driven by Never Leopoldo Navarro-Montoya. The Cherokee driver and two other passengers were hospitalized with injuries considered not life threatening.

The Mexican fled the scene and was found unconscious a third of a mile away on the median strip. Police said Navarro-Montoya possessed a permanent resident card and a Social Security card with his name, which he said were forged and bought in Texas.

The death by illegal alien was the second of a Howard County resident during the last six months. Marine Cpl. Brian Mathews survived a tour of duty in Iraq, but was killed on Thanksgiving night along with his date.

The family has organized two scholarships to honor Matt’s memory — one for a football player to attend summer training camp and the other for a student who participates in music and sports to attend the University of Maryland. The website also has photos and memories of Matt, including the article ‘He was friends with everyone’.

GMU – worse than I initially reported

A follow-up to my post Muslim spacehogs at GMU:

UPDATE May 11, 2007: From Snapped Shot via LGF, Brian C. Ledbetter clears up some misperceptions about George Mason U and the Muslim Student Association: for example, not all bathrooms in the Johnson Center have ritual foot-washing basins, but every bathroom in the northeastern half of the building has foot-washing basins. Still doesn’t give me a warm fuzzy.

The original article from Snapped Shot was titled “Some are more equal.” This statement is adapted from the proclamation “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others” made by the ruling pigs in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. A fitting extension of our porcine metaphor.

As noted in a previous article Muslim accomodations on college campuses:

The [Muslim Accomodations Task Force, a project of the Muslim Student Association] isn’t operated by overly enthusiastic college students. Its professional staff, based in the Washington, D.C., area, includes coordinators who provide legal advice, teach students to lobby, write letters on their behalf, and help them overcome “obstacles” such as college administrators’ concerns about violating the separation of church and state.

Jamaat ul-Fuqra in Virginia, Part 1
by Baron Bodissey

During the Beltway Sniper crisis, back in the fall of 2002, a series of articles in The Washington Times described John Allen Muhammad’s conversion to Islam, and his later break with the Nation of Islam (the articles are no longer available, but extracts have been preserved here). Apparently the NOI was not militant enough for Mr. Muhammad, and he left it to become involved with a group called Jamaat ul-Fuqra (Arabic for “community of the impoverished”), a terrorist organization founded by a notorious Pakistani cleric, Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani.

What drew my eye in the article was the mention of a Jamaat ul-Fuqra compound in Red House, Virginia. Red House?! I know Red House — a small village in rural Charlotte County.

But first: some background on Jamaat ul-Fuqra. The group was founded in New York by Sheikh Gilani in New York in 1980. Its current headquarters is in Hancock, New York, and it has various compounds, or Jamaats, scattered throughout the United States and Canada, notably in Colorado, New York, Tennessee, Georgia, and Virginia. Most of the adherents are reported to be American-born Black Muslims who follow a strict Islamist ideology.

Sheikh Gilani, you may remember, is the cleric with whom Daniel Pearl had arranged an interview back in January of 2002. Unfortunately, Mr. Pearl was betrayed by his sources, and then abducted and beheaded. Sheikh Gilani was arrested later that month and languishes in Pakistani custody.

Some 9-11 terrorists used Maryland and Virginia for their final staging.

Until recently, economists rarely mentioned the I-word when explaining the income distribution. The consensus among most academics was that the primary cause of increased inequality was “skill-biased technical change” (SBTC)—i.e., increased economic rewards to educated, technically savvy workers.

In a word, SBTC compensation was based on merit. How quaint!

Northwestern University economists Ian Dew-Becker and Robert J. Gordon broke from the group naiveté in a paper published last year:

“If SBTC had been a major source of the rise in inequality, then we should have observed an increase in relative wages of those most directly skilled in the development and use of computers. Yet in the 1989-97 period….total real compensation of CEOs increased by 100 percent, while those in occupations related to math and computer science increased only 4.8 percent and engineers decreased by 1.4 percent.” [Where did the Productivity Growth Go? ==quotation Edwin S. Rubenstein:

quote In debunking SBTC the authors make a broader historical point regarding immigration:

“To be convincing, a theory must fit the facts, and the basic facts to be explained about income equality are not one but two, that is, not only why inequality rose after the mid-1970s but why it declined from 1929 to the mid-1970s. Three events fit neatly into this U-shaped pattern, all of which influence the effective labor supply curve and the bargaining power of labor: (1) the rise and fall of unionization, (2) the decline and recovery of immigration, and (3) the decline and recovery in the importance of international trade and the share of imports…”

“Partly as a result of restrictive legislation in the 1920s, and also the Great Depression and World War II, the share of immigration per year in the total population declined from 1.3 percent in 1914 to 0.02 percent in 1933, remained very low until a gradual recovery began in the late 1960s, reaching 0.48 percent (legal and illegal) in 2002. Competition for unskilled labor not only arrives in the form of immigration but also in the form of imports, and the decline of the import share from the 1920s to the 1950s and its subsequent recovery is a basic fact of the national accounts.” end quote. quote But the foreign-born share of the labor force—15 percent in 2005—is also unprecedented. Since 2001 illegals have accounted for most of immigrant labor force growth.

Cheap immigrant labor induces only a nugatory increase in total native income. Its biggest impact, according to Harvard economist George Borjas, is to redistribute income from native workers to employers.

Recent data seem to confirm this. The construction industry is booming, home builders are racking up record profits, yet average construction wages have fallen between 15 percent and 35 percent across the country—the result of cheap immigrant labor.

Similarly, the service industries—restaurants, hotels, motels, cleaning companies, etc. – are major employers of immigrant labor. These industries are booming, creating wealth for executives and shareholders. But average real wages of service industry workers have declined since 2001. end quote April 06, 2006

In 2001, according to MADD, 44.1 percent of California’s drunk driving arrests in 2001 were of Hispanics, although Hispanics made up only 31.3 percent of the state’s population.

quote A comprehensive study of hate crimes in Los Angeles County released by the University of Hawaii in 2000 concluded that while the vast majority of hate crimes nationwide are not committed by members of organized groups, Los Angeles County is a different story. Researchers found that in areas with high concentrations, or “clusters,” of hate crimes, the perpetrators were typically members of Latino street gangs who were purposely targeting blacks.

Furthermore, the study found, “There is strong evidence of race-bias hate crimes among gangs in which the major motive is not the defense of territorial boundaries against other gangs, but hatred toward a group defined by racial identification, regardless of any gang-related territorial threat.”

PORTLAND, Ore. — Punctuating a fundamental change in American family life, married couples with children now occupy fewer than one in every four households — a share that has been slashed in half since 1960 and is the lowest ever recorded by the census.

As marriage with children becomes an exception rather than the norm, social scientists say it is also becoming the self-selected province of the college-educated and the affluent.

“The culture is shifting, and marriage has almost become a luxury item, one that only the well educated and well paid are interested in,” said Isabel V. Sawhill, an expert on marriage and a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.

Memo From Mexico, By Allan Wall

“Family Values Don’t Stop At The Rio Grande.”
The problem of emigrants abandoning their families is so bad that some of these poor Mexican women have actually written to VDARE.COM for help! One of them told us (my translation) that

“…my husband is an illegal alien, and has been for approximately a year and a half. I haven’t seen him for 3 years and I would like him sent back to Mexico, where he was born… I am a desperate woman with 4 children and I can’t provide for them, we live in poverty…Help me…”

This desperate lady wants the U.S. to deport her husband, and she actually included the guy’s address in California.

That’s a slogan George W. Bush uses to justify illegal immigration.
One of the towns in Susuapan is Tremecino:

“In Tremecino 25% of the mothers are left alone with their children, expecting a husband who may return this year, in 2 years or more, if at all.”

By the way, in Tremecino, the average age of marriage or cohabitation is 14!

One of the inhabitants of Tremecino is Rosa:

“…She had 4 children when her husband emigrated to Tucson. She was expecting him to send her money but it never arrived, because the man became an alcoholic and found another woman.”

“Between 1987 and 1991, total fertility rates for foreign-born Hispanics [in California] increased from 3.2 to 4.4 [expected babies per woman over her lifetime]. … Why did total fertility rates increase so dramatically for Hispanic immigrants? First, the composition of the Hispanic immigrant population in California changed as a result of the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986. In California alone, 1.6 million unauthorized immigrants applied for amnesty (legal immigrant status) under this act. The vast majority were young men, and many were agricultural workers who settled permanently in the United States. Previous research indicates that many of those granted amnesty were joined later by spouses and relatives in the United States… As a result, many young adult Hispanic women came to California during the late 1980s. (“Understanding the Future of Californians’ Fertility: The Role of Immigrants”).

This ex-illegal immigrant baby boom created an indigestible population pig-in-a-python that overwhelmed California’s public schools in the 1990s, with many having to shift to disruptive year round schedules. The LA Unified School District alone has budgeted $19 billion for construction to accommodate the immigration-driven growth in student numbers. end quote March 18, 2007

quote The last few years should have been good ones for labor. Since February 2004 more than 4 million jobs have been created. Output per worker increased by 3.5 percent in 2004 and 2.7 percent last year. Yet the balance of power continued shifting from labor to capital. Not only did profits spike as a share of GDP, but real median income actually declined in 2003 and 2004 (the latest available year.) end quote quote Recent data seem to confirm this. The construction industry is booming, home builders are racking up record profits, yet average construction wages have fallen between 15 percent and 35 percent across the country—the result of cheap immigrant labor. end quote April 06, 2006

quote Americans also know that there are resulting consequences for such massive uncontrolled illegal immigration. One result will be a population explosion! Do the math– it’s breathtaking! If all 20 to 23 million illegal aliens here today are given guest worker amnesty along with “family reunification,” it will add roughly 60 million people to the current legal population of 293 million.(12) In 2050, just forty-four years from now, demographers say there will be half a billion people residing in America!(13) Just imagine what kind of impact that will have on our natural resources and quality of life! end quote Daneen G. quote L.A. Blackout
Acting on orders from the Mexican Mafia, Latino gang members in Southern California are terrorizing and killing blacks.

According to gang experts and law enforcement agents, a longstanding race war between the Mexican Mafia and the Black Guerilla family, a rival African-American prison gang, has generated such intense racial hatred among Mexican Mafia leaders, or shot callers, that they have issued a “green light” on all blacks. A sort of gang-life fatwah, this amounts to a standing authorization for Latino gang members to prove their mettle by terrorizing or even murdering any blacks sighted in a neighborhood claimed by a gang loyal to the Mexican Mafia.

“This attitude is pretty pervasive throughout all the [Latino] gangs,” says Tim Brown, a Los Angeles County probation supervisor. “As long as [street] gangs are heavily influenced by the prison gangs, particularly the Mexican Mafia, racism is just part and parcel of why they come into being and why they continue to exist.” But with the Mexican Mafia’s shadow looming over Los Angeles, it may be a long time before the rapidly growing number of streets claimed by Latino gangs are safe for blacks, if ever.
“It’s not just Highland Park. It’s almost anywhere in L.A. that you could find yourself in a difficult position [as a black person],” says Lewis, the LAPD probation officer. “All blacks are on green light no matter where.”

quote What OldAtlantic never mentions is wages of women have rising considerably and more than made up for the drop in the wages of men. These trends have very little to illegal immigration. by RealChoices from Pacthed | Apr 9, 2007 4:39:28 PM above. In addition to Pacthed’s arguments above and earlier in response to this point by RealChoices it should be pointed out that women’s wages are still below men’s. But men’s are below what they were in 1973. So women’s wages now are still less than men’s wages in 1973. That is the argument of Bush, McCain and Kennedy for immigration, that its kept wages for women below what men’s wages were in 1973. How many women have thought that was society’s goal? I haven’t heard many women saying they wanted women’s wages to stay below men’s wages in 1973 for their entire working life from 1973 to now. Search p60-231.pdf in google and go to page 18 for the graph. It has men’s and women’s wages. Is the future for women that Kennedy promises them is that their wages will stay below the wages of men in 1973?

Is the future for women that Kennedy promises them is that their wages will stay below the wages of men in 1973? The ratio of women’s wages to men’s went from 60 percent in 1959 to about 77 percent in 2005. This is what women were hoping for? That 77 percent is 77 percent of men’s wages in 2005, but men’s wages in 2005 were lower than men’s wages in 1973. So women are getting less than 77 percent of what men’s wages were in 1973. Is that what women have been working for? Is that the future they want? A women who started working in 1965, the year of Kennedy’s immigration act and who worked to this year would have worked 42 years, all of them at less than 77 percent of what men made in 1973. Was that the goal? Do they thank Kennedy’s 1965 Immigration Act and its legal immigration for that lifetime of underpay?

Another way to think of this. Suppose men made 100 in 1973 and women made 60 percent, or 60. Women go to 77 percent or 77, an improvement of 17. But if men’s wages had gone to 150 say and women’s percent stayed at 60, they would make 90 instead of 77. Moreover, if they had gone to 90 percent they would make 135 instead of 77, almost twice as much. Immigration did 2 things to women. It kept men’s wages down, and thus since women get a percentage less than 100 of men’s that means it kept theirs down. Second, the percentage of women’s pay to men’s pay was kept down by immigration. So women lost out twice from immigration, a lower percentage of men’s pay than they would have got, and their base in effect, men’s pay, didn’t move up. Even at 100 percent, women would only make what men did in 1973, since men only make that much.

Women are often treated harshly by employers. Look at Mary Jo Kopechne who was left by Kennedy to die in an air pocket while he went back to his hotel and had a drink while she suffocated. See ytedk.com. Women are treated too harshly by employers for them to have a ceiling of men’s pay which doesn’t move since 1973. Women work too hard and are treated too harshly for their percentage of men’s pay to be kept at 77 percent by immigration instead of being close to 100 percent where it would have been after 40 years of women’s lib without the legal and illegal immigration influx. Women got the short end from Kennedy’s 1965 Immigration act 2 ways, men’s pay was frozen at the 1973 level and women’s percentage didn’t go to 100 percent, which it would have done without a market influx of low cost labor. Because health insurance benefits are cut back, women lose out a third time from immigration which has not just cut pay but also benefits including health insurance. Even if you get health insurance its not as good as it used to be.

Women also lose in that 51 percent live without a spouse and on pay that is 77 percent of what a man made in 1973. That’s a pretty hard life. If they are a single mom on 77 percent of what a man made in 1973 that is harsher still.

Immigration is leaving many women unmarried, perhaps childless, or perhaps single moms. With men earning what they did in 1973, they aren’t able to pay much child support, and many just skip out because they earn so little.

Mary Jo Kopechne was a secretary when she was left to die in an air pocket by Kennedy at Chappaquiddick. The scenario experienced by women , pay at under 77 percent of men’s and men’s pay frozen at the 1973 level, and a 51 percent chance to live without a spouse would have been her life had Kennedy let her live, albeit under his 1965 Immigration Act. This is what Kennedy calls upside.

If she had worked to 2007, she would have retired at age 67. That would have been as a teacher, secretary and administrator. She would have made typically less than 77 percent of what a man made her entire career. Because men’s wages topped out in 1973, she would have made no more than 77 percent of what a man made in 1973. That is what would have happened to her under Kennedy’s 1965 Immigration Act, if she hadn’t suffered under Kennedy’s 1969 Chappaquiddick Act.

Immigration kept men’s median wages to the 1973 level, and women’s wages to under 77 percent of men. That was legal immigration from Kennedy’s 1965 Immigration Act. With zero immigration, women’s wages would have reached parity with men long ago. In addition, men’s median wages would be higher than in 1973.

Search p60-231.pdf and go to census.gov to see a graph on page 18 that shows men’s median wages are less than in 1973 and that women’s ratio to men’s wages went from 60 percent in 1960 to 77 percent in 2005. They were kept from going higher by immigration which has targeted women’s jobs, e.g. cleaning and nursing.

quote

Labor Day is almost upon us, and like some of my fellow graybeards, I can, if I concentrate, actually remember what it was that this holiday once celebrated. Something about America being the land of broadly shared prosperity. Something about America being the first nation in human history that had a middle-class majority, where parents had every reason to think their children would fare even better than they had.
The young may be understandably incredulous, but the Great Compression, as economists call it, was the single most important social fact in our country in the decades after World War II. From 1947 through 1973, American productivity rose by a whopping 104 percent, and median family income rose by the very same 104 percent. More Americans bought homes and new cars and sent their kids to college than ever before. In ways more difficult to quantify, the mass prosperity fostered a generosity of spirit: The civil rights revolution and the Marshall Plan both emanated from an America in which most people were imbued with a sense of economic security.

That America is as dead as the dodo. Ours is the age of the Great Upward Redistribution.

Since 1973, men’s median wages are unchanged, see p60-231.pdf page 18 graph. Women’s wages were 60 percent of men’s in 1960 and are 77 percent in 2005.So women’s wages are less than 77 percent of what men’s wages were in 1973. This shows that before immigration, from 1947 to 1973, productivity and median wages went up 1 for 1. Since then, its all been to the shareholders, many of them rich senators like McCain and Kennedy.

Those words are so true. America was once so much more of a family than it is today. Today it is a Bush Hobbesian land. America was so much better 25 years ago. It was so much safer to walk at night. There was so much less fear.

Children could play on their own and roam and get into trouble. They were safe. Probably, no one on earth will ever know a land that great and good for centuries and possibly millenia to come.

You can see what America was in the movies from decades ago. That was once real and it was America. It was so safe and so more unified.
